In January of 2018, Peter became CEO of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of California where he is responsible for bringing to life the mission of the organization which believes the construction industry is vital to the success of California. Through its members, AGC actively creates opportunities to build and strengthen the state by shaping policy, improving industry relationships, and developing the construction workforce.

Prior to his current position with AGC, Peter has served in numerous leadership roles including President and CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, CEO to the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (SRBX), Chief of Staff to a US Congressman in Washington, D.C., and numerous board and commissions including the Sacramento County Planning Commission and the Carmichael Recreation and Park District Board.

In 2013, Peter was also named one of Sacramento’s “40 Under 40” by the Sacramento Business Journal.

He graduated from Sac State with a BA in Government and from the University of Southern California with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

He resides in Carmichael with his wife and four children.
