Episode 58: Finding Purpose with Kate Rieling
About Kate:
Kate is a project manager for a civil/site work contractor in the Metro Atlanta Area. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008 with a degree in Building Construction and experienced her first project as an intern in 2005.
She was immediately enamored with the industry and all of the opportunities it provided. After four internships during summers in college, which she attributes to the majority of her learning about the industry, upon graduation she started working for one of the largest contractors in the US.
After several years, she decided to find a company that would allow her to stay local to the Atlanta area and take on more responsibility. In her current role, Kate manages several site work projects concurrently and is a founding board member for the Crew Collaborative, a non-profit organization working to empower the industry's next generation.
