It was a great pleasure and honor to be featured on an episode of Women Talk Construction! A huge thank you to Christi and Angela for allowing me the opportunity to share my journey about my participation in the ACE Mentorship program. One thing that I truly stand by is their mission statement, “ To Celebrate Diversity in construction and other industries through stories and experiences. Transparency, vulnerability, and Authenticity are the core values that drive us to encourage and promote positive change that WILL one day reshape the current perception of women and minorities in non-traditional roles”. After being on the podcast, this mission statement was truly evident in holding so much power, through the stories and experiences that we all shared together. I believe we need more podcasts that promote what Christ and Angela do! In addition, I want to say thank you for making a difference for women and making my dreams come true. You gave me the strength I needed to continue to encourage more women who look like me to participate in a field that is so rewarding. Lastly, this podcast provided me the space and comfort to outline my trials and tribulations, which led me to my love for Landscape Architecture
