Episode 16: Changing the Culture with Jesi Johnson

Jesi is from the Clemson area (Walhalla, SC) from a construction-filled family. She graduated with Construction Science & Management from Clemson University in 2016, went to Atlanta to gain some valuable experience with a global firm (Skanska USA Building), joined Holder three years later, and now she is back, helping grow the Clemson campus for future students via the Daniel Hall Expansion & Renovation. “God really aligned the stars for me!”

In this episode:

Christi and Angela interview Jesi Johnson with Holder Construction. Jesi talks about how she got started in the construction industry and what brought her back full circle to her alma mater at Clemson University. Jesi also discusses how positive words and constructive criticism can go a long way in changing the 'negative' culture the construction industry is sometimes known for. Check it out!
