Episode 34: Women Supporting Women with Nancy Cagle

Christi and Angela interview Nancy Cagle, the founder of LOGIC (Ladies Operating for Growth in Construction) in 2019 within the ABC Association. Nancy talks about how important it is for women in non-traditional roles, such as construction, to have support, especially from other women who, on occasion, have been known to tear other women down. She also discusses the topic of mentoring and how much better the relationship can be between a mentor and mentee if it is organic. Nancy is also a Sr. Account Manager at a security company (Eyesite Surveillance) and talks about her role as a woman who engineers jobsite security for her customers. Check it out!

About Nancy:

Nancy has held a position as the Sr. Account Manager for 6+ years. She has been part of the construction industry for 8+ years.

Holding a variety of responsibilities such as:
Management, Surveillance Application Engineer, Education, Market Startup, Business Development, Technical Consulting, Presenting, Marketing, Operations Processes, Safety Compliance, Site assessment, Estimator, Procurement officer. Nancy has also served and held multiple positions on committees with several different associations within the industry: ASA, GHBA, AGC, ABC.

Nancy was the founder of LOGIC (Ladies Operating for Growth in Construction) in 2019 within the ABC Association. She served on the ABC Board of Directors for 2 years and was named 2019 ABC Idol and was honored with the 2019 Committee Chair of the Year Award.

Nancy loves outdoor sports and activities. She has been married to the love of her life for 30 years and has been blessed with 2 Children, Jonathan and Faith Cagle.
