Angela Carter has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry in North Carolina. Beginning as a corporate representative, moving into general contracting, and even providing consulting services for the AEC Industry. She joined Metcon Buildings & Infrastructure nine years ago, where she is the Vice President of Business Development, Marketing, and Community Partnerships. In this role, she has created a new culture, impacted growth, operations, organizational structure, leadership development, branding, and multiple community partnerships.
Her experience and expertise in Business Development and Strategy Development have resulted in increasing Metcon revenues from $80M /year to over $500M/year. She drives strategic planning, client & project development, and overall success for 4 business units for the organization. As part of the C Suite for Metcon, her leadership has impacted more women in leadership in the organization, established a robust workforce development program, and Metcon’s RISE Academy, geared towards building the next generation of Minority Owned Contractors.
