Grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. Graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a Political Science Degree. Managed a private country club in the Charlotte/Concord area for 9.5 years. Decided I wanted a career change and started with MBK in 2017. Avid golfer, reader, traveler.
About Jimmy:
Jimmy Kaphusman is a skilled construction professional with over 15 years of experience in project management. Currently serving as Project Director at M. B. Kahn since April 2023, Jimmy previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at the same company. From September 2017 to April 2023, Jimmy worked at Poettker Construction Company as Project Manager/QC Manager.
Prior experience includes roles as Quality Control Manager/Project Manager at Tyler Construction Group, Inc. from August 2012 to September 2017, and Assistant PM/Project Coordinator at W.G. Yates & Sons Construction between January 2009 and August 2012. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from the University of Florida, earned in 2008.
