About Lauren:
Relocating to the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area in early 2025, Lauren Hutchinson took on the role of Compliance Engineer at Truss Payments, a fast-paced, quickly growing, financial tech company specializing in providing 21st-century payment solutions to the construction and building industries. Lauren holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Victoria and a diploma in software development.
Transitioning out of her role in the robotics industry, Lauren has dived deep into the tech world, acting on the frontline to identify, manage, and reduce fraud and AML (Anti Money Laundering) related risks.
Outside of work, Lauren loves staying active, testing her DIY skills, finding treasure at the thrift store, and playing piano.
