About Pat:
Pat Miller is the owner of Blue Diamond Construction. With 30 years of experience in commercial carpentry, Pat also is a highly-skilled metal framer and sought-after value engineer. She honed her craft working hands-on at building sites. She routinely liaises with engineers, architects, owners, developers, electricians, carpenters, and foremen to design and build medical and office buildings, apartments, churches, cafes/restaurants, supermarkets, and other retail stores.
In recent years, Blue Diamond also has played an integral role in the revitalization of iconic Asbury Park, N.J. Pat is also the award-winning, internationally best-selling author of Kicking Karma’s Ass: Unbelievable Stories of Strength, Resilience and Perseverance, All Told with a Twist of Humor. In 2024, she launched Behind the Blueprint with Pat Miller, a web series that showcases what it’s like to work on a construction job site.
The Women Builders Council named Pat an Outstanding Woman Builder, and South Jersey Biz named her a 2024 Woman to Watch.
