About Jonna:
Jonna Turner is the South Carolina Membership Director for ABC of the Carolinas, where she oversees membership development and engagement across the entire state. Focused on building strong relationships, Jonna collaborates with industry professionals to connect, advocate, and foster growth within the construction sector, helping members achieve their goals through networking, educational initiatives, workforce development, and advocacy
With a rich background in strategic event planning, economic development, and community engagement, Jonna previously served as Director of Events for Business Affairs, Tourism, and Economic Development at OneSpartanburg, Inc., and as Chief Executive Officer of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, where she led initiatives to enhance workforce development, leadership, and quality of life. An active community leader, she has taught Communications Courses at Spartanburg Community College and Limestone University, coordinates marketing for Chick-fil-A’s WinShape Camp, and has served on numerous committees and boards including chairing the board of Habitat for Humanity of Cherokee County as well as the Alzheimer’s Association.
Jonna holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina Upstate and a Master’s in Communications Management from Webster University. She is married to her husband Richard of 22 years, and they have two children, Levi and Lynnix.
