WOMEN TALK CONSTRUCTION

- HOST PREPARATION -

What do we do to prepare for your podcast?

  • Zoom is our platform to record, and it’s just like a conversation, other hosts have other platforms and they are similar to Zoom.

  • If you have a vendor/customer/friend/family who would like to add a commercial to your podcast, please let your host know so they can reach out.  Our podcast sponsorship levels can be found Here. We can record the promotional ad with 60-75 words submitted to our team or the sponsor can record it and send us the audio. (other podcasts are different, just ask)

  • Most listened-to podcasts are approximately 20 minutes long. We like to keep our podcasts between 20-25 minutes so we request that you please keep your responses concise and to the point since we only have 25 minutes for our podcast episode. This will help ensure that we cover all the topics we want to discuss.

  • Audio and video recording.

  • Some recorded podcasts can remove your words/statements, just pause, say remove that, then start again with your sentence

  • Your podcast should be sent to you a few days before it is published - most hosts will not schedule a podcast until they have your guest information filled out

  • Using hand signals (if not using the video recording) is a great way to communicate with each other. On our show, we raise our hand ½ way through the podcast for a short pause (3 seconds) this just means finish your thought and take a breath

  • We also raise our hand with 5 minutes left so that we can wrap up the podcast and make sure our audience knows how to reach you if that’s something you would like to share.
